Our Story

Rohan Woodworking was started by Matthew Rohan over 25 years ago.

His career started as an apprentice joiner before a five year management training programme for a York based shop fitting company. Matthew became a contracts manager, working on large scale projects across the UK and Europe. From this, he developed the management skills and confidence to start his own business and to this day he recognises the importance of a practical, hands on approach.

The business has grown steadily and now employs 16 staff in a 6,000 sq. ft. shop fitting workshop near Malton, North Yorkshire. We have up to date machinery including CNC, saws, moulders, sanders and a polishing and spraying room.

We work in a variety of materials including wood, metal, acrylic and glass. We have a team of specialist tradesmen, suppliers and contractors who we have worked closely with over the years and who have helped to create the success of the business.
